Condition of Inventory
Inventory Classification:
Austin Surplus Industrial, Inc. wants you to be satisfied with the products you purchase from us. At the beginning of each listing’s description we use the terminology listed below to define our opinion of the product we are offering for sale.
New-Unopened– New, unused, unopened, in original factory Packaging.
New In Box – Product is in its original manufacturer packaging and has never been used. The package may have been opened by us to fully identify the product and to provide photos.
New-No Box– Product appears to be new and unused but is not in original manufacturer packaging.
Old Stock– Item appears unused and has been in storage for some time.
Refurb-mfg-Item has been refurbished/remanufactured by the manufacturer or its authorized repair facility.
Used – Product has obviously been used but still has useful life. Often these products are in excellent condition or can have consumable/wear parts changed by the buyer and put back into service.
Parts Only – Item is intended as a parts source only - actual working function unknown.
Under our Terms of Sale we do offer to accept return of any item received that is not as described in the listing. We also offer a non-Dead on Arrival (Non-DOA) guarantee on all of our products unless stated otherwise in the specific listing. “Parts Only” products are NOT returnable unless we shipped the wrong item.
